Im not gonna say that wos is gonna go further than cs! But i will say that WOS seems to be steadiy improving and that continued today, whie CS had a lot of trouble with a good BC team! CS looked a little winded at times in this game, and they gave up quite a bit of yards right up the middle! I think if the mustangs and the trojans keep winning and meet up that the mustangs running game woud have success! But who knows it a changes week to week! Good luck trojans, i hope to see yall in 3 weeks!

As long as Coldspring resides in 22-3A,  22-3A>21-3A. Everyone knew BC, Silsbee, WOS would be the top three, but 22-3A had 4 teams competing. 2-1 over 21-3A this year. CS will go farther and if given the chance they will beat WOS.

Gilbert had over 120 yds & 1 TD on about 15 carries and Monroe took a monster hit right before halftime (on one of his carries) and spent the 2nd half of the game in the hospital in Baytown...

BC played very well against the run and CS (entirely new oline - last years entire group graduated) got a baptism by fire so to speak in their first playoff game...I don't think it'd be unfair to say that the o-line had their struggles last night...They're young and will have to keep improving...

[/quote]9 and 10 men in the box is what was up. They were more sucessfull running the ball with Alfred Scott the QB. He kinda looked like Chad Allen for a minute. Maybe we will see some spread option looks in the future from the CS offence. Congrats to Huffman on a great win and good luck next week. Navasota right?

I think they're going to have to incorporate more play action pass...Get some of those guys out of the box and worrying about more than stopping the run...

I'm sure they'll make the needed adjustments as they move along...They've been throwing the ball more this year...I'm sure it's tough for a coaching staff to throw alot when your team is averaging close to 10 yds per rush...

Defense is the constant right now and CS should be able to continue to score enough points to be a tough out...That being said anything can happen on any given night...That's why they play the games...

That kid is capable of putting up numbers on the ground when given the chance. If Gilbert and Monroe are having a problems I would love to see CS go into the spread look (only to run of course) lol. But they have a big TE or WR that has some good hands if they did decide to throw

if coldsprings and west orange stark do meet up down the line i will say this coldsprings better hurry and get in shape from what i saw the kids from coldsprings were sucking air and watching the clock.coldsprings is the #3 team in the state and should be in the big dance

Sorry we don't have the luxury of being able to pick from 800 kids with ou school vein one of the littlest 3a in the state so our boys have to play both ways so they tend to get tired like normal humans!!
