Hawkeye Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Looks to me like we have to stop their RB and we may have a chance. Whataya think?

Monkeynuts Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Magnolia West - Desmond Richards -very good RB -QB and recievers are pretty good also

I'm sure Brenham fan can shed some light on this team.
CHSJAGS1999 Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Is it confirmed that Dayton vs Magnolia West is at Galena Park stadium on Saturday, after the Nederland game?

Not yet. Someone else may have heard different.
Purple Runs Deep Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 If it comes down to field goals....I got Dayton PERIOD!
Eazy Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 This should be a great game. I haven't followed 19-4A too much, so I'm not totally sure about Dayton. They can definitely put up points. Both of the teams that beat them in District already lost in the first round. Mag West has been solid with the exception of their 2 losses in which they were hammered by Brenham and Stratford (teams that did win their 1st round). West fell way behind in those games and could not recover. If Mag West plays their game, they can win it. I'll say Mag West 31-27.
Guest octfeb Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Oh where is that TRUTH goober at?
Hawkeye Posted November 13, 2011 Author Report Posted November 13, 2011 Stats from the Mag. West vs. Summer Creek game. Looks like Mr Richards sorta went off last night!http://www.chron.com/sports/highschool/scoreboard/?site=default&mkt=houston&Season=2011&tpl=Boxscore&Sport=1&ID=124650&TeamID=3852&SearchType=Teams
liltex Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Dayt held Bertrand to 17=38 yds=2.2 per,Nobody has accomplished that,we'll be ok.

Richards catches passes out of the backfield well too.
liltex Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Ain't skeered they got to face a qb w/9 playoff games w/5,591 pass yds=41 tds=13 ints w/1 of the states best kickers.Dayt will win again, get well another week for Jak to rehab that leg.
rollinac Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Things that worry me....1,Mag West runs the ball well2. Dayton does not stop the run well.3. Jan Stenerude Carranco graduates early and doesn't playWe've got the playoff experience advantage and a better passing game....o/w ???

PURPLE 4EVER Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Any new on the game location this morning??? Updating my website, and I have TBA still?Don't know what happened, but if the Dayton front seven plays a game like it did last night, we win it. This will be the first game video that I get a lot of defensive highlights. We had about half a dozen QB sacks and several takcles on the PN-G running back for negative yardage. PN-G really hammered the secondary in the first half, but after PN-G's 3rd quarter TD, the Broncos shut out a very good team. Can't wait to edit the video, unfortunately, my voice is out of whack, and I won't be able to do the voice over video today.
liltex Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 My voice is a little weak this a.m as I finally got your attention P4E on the Carranco poster you got a pic of.

Nederland came close, but did not stop Bertrand like Dayton. Luckily we had the pass, but Daytons adjustments and some supect play calling kept us out of the endzone. If Dayton can play the run like last night then they should have a chance...
outanup Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 I believe Ned held PNG to less than 100 yards rushing, and about 285 total.....
liltex Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Somebody from the Lib/Dayt news media or 99.9 needs to print a article(record tied) or air it on the radio.99.9 news last night was all about Liberty's amazing season ;)
liltex Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Waas up 19-4a supporters, not that some weren't @ our gm last night but I didn't see you supporting Dayt.Roll call now, who's coming to this 1 ???
