invictus Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 With that kicker's foot, it sure does make it easier on the offense, especially in high school. I'll pick Dayton.

Monkeynuts Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 Magnolia West-28 Dayton-24 If Anderson has time to throw he is accurate and has good recievers. Dayton will be keyed up to stop Richards. Magnolia West O-line vs Dayton D-line will decide the game. IMO West secondary has to step up on D also. Good luck to both teams/safe game. Go 17-4A!
PURPLE 4EVER Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 Just going through the last two game videos. The Bronco defensive line is now starting to make tackles behind the line of scrimmage. I just keep thinking about when Dayton played Texas City with their great running back in LaPorte one year. The Broncos had a package of run blitzes and stunts that Texas City just couldn't block. The coaching hasn't changed. I think the Broncos are finally getting how to do the run blitzes and stunts. From what I hear, Magnolia West's offensive line is similar to PN-G's. If the Broncos can get some defensive players in the back field like they did the last two games, I like the Bronco chances. Better coaching, more kids who know how to win in the playoffs, and the best field goal kicker east of the Brazos = Bronco win

Trocket Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 Dayton by 9Magnolia West has a great running back but, he'll put the ball on the ground at least 2 times if they hit him right and not let him get off to a good start. But if he gets going early, look out, if they stop him on the edges, that big QB loves to run the QB draw. Best disciplined team I've seen this year, but outside of the running back, has no speed. Dayton's passing game will eat them up. I no (no speed) causes friction, but it's the truth. ;D ;D ;D

the_dude_abides Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 What is the Magnolia West mascot? It's hard to make fun of an entire school, nay, an entire community without knowing what animal uniform they force a child to wear every friday night.
