bullets13 Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 28 points, 8 assists, only one turnover in a blowout win over Boston University. This is really a pretty good result for the Horns, as BU returned four starters from a team that won their conference last year and played in the tourney. UT brought back exactly 0 starters from their team last year :)
shorttexas1 Posted November 16, 2011 Report Posted November 16, 2011 35 and 6 and 7 in the second game... Putting up Kemba Walker numbers!
bullets13 Posted November 21, 2011 Author Report Posted November 21, 2011 dropped 25 in their 3rd game... he's putting up all-american numbers right now.
AJ25 Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 With them losing the "Big 3" last season, this team is going to go as far as J Brown and his leadership carries them. Total rebuilding year in ATX.
bullets13 Posted November 21, 2011 Author Report Posted November 21, 2011 he's currently leading the teams in ppg (29.3), rpg (5.3) and apg (7.7) after 3 games.
CThoops Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 They would undefeated too if the offense would have kept giving him the ball during the final 5 minutes against Oregon St.. Every play-by-play annoncer for ESPN says he is the most under-rated guard in the country and will be an All-American easy if this keeps up
BLUEDOVE3 Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 Really goes to show you how well J. Brown is being advised. That decision to stay @ Texas this year is proving to be a brilliant strategy.
CThoops Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 Then today he goes and gets a tech after after a personal, fouls out with his team up by 7 with 8 minutes left in the game against NCST.. Texas ends up falling apart and losing once JB is gone.. He needs to stay on the floor and keep his cool, way too valueable
