News Alert
from The Wall Street Journal

The NBA players have rejected the league's latest offer and are beginning the process to disband the union.

The decision likely jeopardizes the season. Union executive director Billy Hunter says the players' association is prepared to file antitrust action against the NBA.

When the players REJECTED the very generous 50/50 split on revenues...I knew this would end badly.  I mean come on; where else do you see owners/business willing to split income and commissions 50/50 with the employees?  This on top of the millions in salary compensation.

Also....why isn't there an "Occupy Movement" for the poor players?  After all, they are victims of the ugly capitalistic pig called corp America, right? (sarcasm).  When will their voices be heard??? Lol.

You know, with the owners bending some to try to come to an agreement, and the players unwilling to bend some too, I kinda hope there is no season. I suggest a basketball version of "The Replacements"
