football04 Posted November 16, 2011 Report Posted November 16, 2011 It just goes to show that a great program must have everyone's backing, superintindent's and school board's can make life hell for a good coach to get the job done. Seems like this time there will be some backlash at the next school board election, and these people seem to be serious. My hats off to these people for backing thier coach but it may be to late, coach Flanigan may have had enough of this town and it's elected officials and be ready to move on to a better place to work.
Cougtalk Posted November 16, 2011 Report Posted November 16, 2011 The biggest problem is we have 2 communities represented, and there is relatively even representation between those two regions, and they have distinctively different views on things like athletic entitlement.

rollinac Posted November 16, 2011 Report Posted November 16, 2011 Good job Crosby.....still can't get it together.
Guest UHCoog14 Posted November 16, 2011 Report Posted November 16, 2011 The problems in Crosby ISD are much deeper and have been in existance long before this year. The merging of Drew and Crosby high schools is still a point of contention with the two communities. Some people just will not move forward.

Texasminuteman Posted November 16, 2011 Report Posted November 16, 2011 Looks like to me that if Flanigan goes so does the school board in the next election.Similar consequences in Liberty. If Deel stays then the school board wont.
7mary3 Posted November 16, 2011 Report Posted November 16, 2011 It's been that way as long as I could remember, separation amongst the two communities. I know how to fix it. Put BS in the Highlands School District... :o
Cougtalk Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 Is it bad that i agree with about 85% of what has been said about this situation...
bobtex Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 Crosby should require the people running for school board take an intelligence test ! That will solve the problems!!
