I happen to LOVE the lines and diagonals. IMO, that omeba looking stuff that most bands do these days, (Including PNG) is NOT marching. It's just moving around until you eventually find where you're supposed to be, then stand there and play until the song is over. I miss the Illinois entry and Texas turn! I wish more bands MARCHED like Ned and Vidor!

Coming from a fellow PNG guy, that has to make bamakid's gut hurt.Have to admit though, the marching I brings me back to the 70's when I watched my cousin in the Dome and Texas Stadium. Good memories.

Good memories.[/quote]Probably so, but for me, I'd rather watch those shapes form and evolve by a block-style band. I just never got the wavy lines things that bands do these days. I mean, they could be doing it all wrong and no one would have a clue, because they don't really form anything recognizable. Now, as far as sound goes, I haven't found any band that sounds better than PNG's.And my son will be one of those wavy lines next yr. too. :)
