A good win for the tigers tonight.  They looked a lot better tonight.  Tigers newcomer Da'Vaughn Thomas is going to be a great addittion to this team.  He seems to get more excited when getting the ball to his teammates than when he scores himself.  He made several impressive passes tonight along with some good defensive play and hussle.  Kelton Gaines showed why he will be a leader on this team tonight with some great play offensively and defensively.  He led the Tigers Tonight with either 22 points.  Chris Elam had 15, Da'Vaughn had 13, Jordan Holmes had 10, Danti' Wilson had 9,  Jacob Dobbins had 6,  LaDavian Barnes and Zayon Jackson each had 2.  The Tigers were 9 of 14 from the free throw line in the first half and 5 of 8 in the second for an overall night of 14 for 22 (63.6%) from the stripe.  Overall not a bad second game and a pretty nice crowd as well. The Tigers hit 8 3's tonight.

The Tigers did look really good lastnight, but they still have some work to do.I was really impressed with the coaching as well. The guys played as a team. I agree Da'Vaughn Thomas will be a great addition to the team. He has a great vision for the floor, and he does get really excited to assist his team mates in scoring. He had 13 pts,10 assists, and 7 rebounds.I believe he vibes well with the team, and they know if they get open he will send the ball their way. He has recovered well from his injury, but still has to get a little more strength in his legs so that we can see some dunks!!Way to go Tigers!!!

Good win for Silsbee

Why? Because PNG is a 4a team?

Personally, I think all wins are good.

Why you being a hater? ;)

Couldn't agree more. Definitely some work to be done.  We can't keep having these slow starts. I also can't wait to see what these other two transfers will bring to the team. I heard one looked real good during the jv game last night.  I didn't get to see that one as I didnt know the  girls played before the guys.
Will the girls be playing before the boys Varsity all the time?  If so, when and where do the boys Fresh and JV play??

Not all the time.  When it happens there are early games in both gyms.  I have heard from a couple different people that the district changed back to playing boys and girls at opposite sites, however the schedules here put both girls and boys district games at the same location. So I am not sure.
The schedules posted on this site show the boys and girls district games at the same location. The schedule my son brought home from the school shows the district games at opposite sites?? May stir up some discussion, but I prefer to watch all the boys games back to back. Nothing against the girls.

I agree! Silsbee has some work to do but wait till they get ALL their players! They will all be on the court by the time they play HJ.
