Wildcat979
How many rushing yards do you think the Pirates will give up to Angleton? Whats your over/under?
mytwocents-28
Honestly i think your gonna keep it close with your rushing yards. Those two running backs are pretty good but IMO the difference maker in the game will be us shutting down your passing attack and not completely stopping the run but holding it down enough to win the game. Not to mention getting a few turnovers. So i'll say no more than 300 but i expect atleast 200 rushing yards. My question to you is how many points do you think your defense can hold us to? Wildcat979
I'll give y'all hmmm 24 give or take by 3 pts. Honestly the difference maker for Vidor to win will be eliminating the big play. Because it is hard to say if y'all will stop the passing game. Because most of our pass plays will be screens, bubble screens, and rollouts etc. But this game will come down to turnovers. I know everybody says the team with the least amount of turnovers wins the game. But I believe this game will come down to turnovers.
mytwocents-28
I think turnovers will have a definite factor in deciding the game but IMO the game will mainly be decided on who's defense stops the other.

Wildcat979
I think the closest Defense we have saw that can probably compare to Vidors D. Would have to be El Campo, they have a real well discipline D that plays assignment football. Might not be the greatest athletes but they play hard nose 4 qrt football. That has to probably be the closet similarity. Not saying nothing bad about Vidor at all. Just trying to compare their D to one of Angleton opponents this year. And every single one of our running backs have been out atleast one game of the season and there backups have gotten starts. Stevenson started several games. Novak started in the Crosby game. And Moore and Godeaux also started a game a piece. And we have Quirante, Jonboy Smith and Devin Asher coming back so i count 9 people who have gotten playing time or start that are coming back for our offense and 10 starters from defense are coming back.
