You must be sniffing those highlighters again. LOL  ::) Just because your Cubs got beat fair and square doesnt mean Ozen will breeze past The La marque Cougars. Brenham is a very good team but also very overrated. La marque would have pulled off the win against them regardless. You can deny it all you want, but i guess we'll never know.  :P La marque vs Ozen will be an interesting game though, thats for sure. They have a great QB... But I doubt they will knock of this stellar team, JMO. If anyone can knock off La marque it will be Manvel.. Goodluck though, we all know anything can happen in the playoffs.

No man, I have not been sniffing any hi-lighters, glue, or anything of the such.  If you noticed from my other posts you would have saw that I gave full props to Ozen for taking care of their business yesterday.  I also pointed out that all of the attention brought to our program because of all the raw talent was not managed properly.  Overrated? They might have very well been.  When I said that Ozen could beat La Marque was not a shot at the La Marque program at all.  Myself, and everyone that follows high school ball has much respect for La Marque's program.  I was simply saying that Ozen is a legit team, with good coaching, and good players that have gotten it done.  La Marque probably SHOULD win on Saturday, but remember that Brenham was SUPPOSED to win yesterday.  You will not see me cracking on anyone from La Marque, Ozen, or Manvel.  Good luck to La Marque and Ozen this week.

I'm just saying La marque has the advantage in almost every category, Unlike brenham that got beat twice with the big pass.[size=10pt][b]No team thus far as piled up more that 100+ yards on our Defense[/b][/size]. And as far as passing against us.... I believe we've caught about 5 picks in the past 2 to 3 weeks of play. So yeah... But nothing person my man, all senseless chatter... until game day.  ;D

Rosenburg Terry - 236 yards, Manvel - 448 yards, Friendswood - 243 yards, Pearland Dawon - 276 yards, Rosenburg Terry in playoffs - 259 yards

Pretty sure all those games are more than 100 yards. Just saying.  ;D

Sorry I left out a part... I meant to say "no team has piled up more than 100+ yards ON THE GROUND against our Defense..." Then i went on to mention how our Secondary has improved since those games. As for those numbers you mentioned above... Manvel, Dawson, AND Terry were ranked in the top 25 in 4a so I expect nothing less from ranked teams. Beaumont Ozen on the other hand is not even mentioned or found in the same sentence as the words "state ranked". So if our defense is averaging about 187.5 yrds per game given up in the [b]toughest district in the state[/b], I doubt Ozen will be putting up 300 yards on us. These are just the facts..

Not sure I'd agree with toughest district in the state.  3 teams had winning records on the season.  Don't give me the beat up each other routine either....no district with an 0-10 team is one of the toughest in the state.  Three of the better teams around yea...playing HISD in the second round doesn't hurt either.

Tell that to Friday Football Frenzy, ESPN, and TOC... They have all called it, & i quote "one of the toughest districts in the state of texas" while covering one of Manvel's and La marque's games.
