Nederland @ HJ predictions!

Great matchup on Monday night as Nederland travels to Sour Lake to take on the Hawks from Hardin Jefferson. HJ has the traditionally strong basketball history, and they look to get revenge on the Dogs who beat them in a close game last season. The Hawks have two strong players returning with Prudhomme and Bosha.

Meanwhile, Nederland is looking to establish themselves amongst the best in the area after back-to-back District Championships. Nederland's only returning letterman are underclassmen, English (Jr) and Weisbrod (Soph). Both teams made the Regional Tourney in 3A and 4A respectively last season. This will be a statement game as both teams are expected to do well this season.

Should be a good ole fashion barn burner! Two of the best coaches in the area with Coach English from Nederland, and Coach Sutherland from Hardin Jefferson. A basketball tradition like HJ and a program that is on the rise in Nederland! I'll be there front and center to watch what has the makings of being a great game!

No need to wait Dove - you know you are going to pick HJ to win.  This way if you are right you look like Jimmy the Greek and can rub it Nederland's face that they lost but if you're wrong you can still fall back on the fact that HJ plays a weak schedule and is overrated.
