deer hunting season

Someone said that deer season has a roll over week. Dec. 2 thru Dec. 9 in which the season in Texas is closed. This is new to me. Anyone heard of such a thing?

Never heard of such a thing. I checked TPWD web page and didn't see anything about it mentioned. Maybe somebody just wants to hunt your spot that week .

Never heard of that, they must be thinking about the split in Duck season.

I hunt a split deer season. I split my vacations so that I can hunt at different times in the season. That is a good thing about having 8 weeks vacation.......
