Guest Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 Dont know if Spurger is very good but 110 is a good way to get started especially with no practices.
forum Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 I was expecting a comment or 2 about running up the score.

Key players are Tanner, Horton, JQ Thomas, and Smith. SA is every bit of 10 deep.
aTmfan06 Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 Lol I'm pretty sure Spurger isn't good at all this year

Spurger is a decent team. nothing like they were the last few years, but okay.SA is for real.
bigbasketballfan Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 I watched Spurger play Warren a week or so ago. They are not the team that they have had the last 3-5 years that's for sure. The team is young and a bit smaller than previous. Also there really is not a bench to speak of as Spurger does not have a Little Dribblers program to build a program from. Watching these kids play, they have a lot of heart and determination and by the looks of it they will not give up. As with most high school or college sports, each year brings new players, skill level and ability. It would be very unfair to compare this group to the previous.
