justsaying Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 Can't throw that many INT's and keep giving them the ball inside the 10 and expect to stay in the game. I hate that this is the performance we are giving at this level. 3-0 in the 1st quarter and then 27 unanswered in the 2nd quarter. Not good.
wackpack Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 Prayers go out to Kirby Johnson injured in the 2 nd quarter.
WOSgrad Posted November 26, 2011 Author Report Posted November 26, 2011 Jereme and Justin are back up and running!
playdefense Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 what kind of injury did Kirby suffer? Any ideas
wackpack Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 Ankle. He is at the hospital now I believe.
Hornet Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 EC turns over the ball with a interception.
Hornet Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 Noel with a 6 yd TD run. PAT good with 11:07 in the game. 45-0 Tatum
Hornet Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 I'm leaving the game but I'm very proud of EC on a great season!!
Hornet Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 Roberts scores with the PAT good. 45-7 Tatum
thedogs1987 Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 Congrats to Coach Evans, a classy local product, with an outstanding family heritage in coaching!!! Know this one is sweet to beat EC.Good job
ECfan4life! Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 Kirby possibly broke his ankle or tibia doing x-rays now.
purpleeagle Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 Went and watched this one. Did not know Tatum was this good. Overstreet is the real deal. I have watched Crockett and Tatum both play and this should be a great match up (assuming Crockett wins). Both have good size with outstanding QB's. Hope someone will post the place and time for that game. Best of luck EC, you had a good year.

They were picked to miss the playoffs and went 3 rounds deep. Stellar group of coaches and young men. I wish them the best.

Goes to show the "experts" don't always know what their talking about. I only saw them against Newton , but well coached and played hard are both terms that don't really fit. They were SUPER well coached and played SUPER hard. Great season. :)
Tatum_DirtyBird Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 I got a pretty good laugh last night watching the game and remembering what the EC coach told me after the Tatum/Jefferson game. He said " How does maroon(Jefferson) let Tatum convert a 4th and 20 into a first down? Pathetic." And then Tatum converts not 1 but 2 3rd and 20s on East Chambers. I believe one was to Overstreets favorite target Nate Pickett and the other was a simple swing pass to Shaq Johnson and Johnson did all the work behind his blockers and went for the TD I think. When you have the athletes Tatum has, you can convert the 3rd and longs and 4 and longs.
SFAJACK02 Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 But next week if you play Crockett its gonna be a challenge for you Tatum boys!!

No doubt Crockett will be tough to beat, considering they get past Harmony today.

Should Crockett win....which they likely will, I expect one hell of a game.
robanadana Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 Congratulations fellow swashbucklers on an outstanding season. Good luck next year East Chambers....we'll just have to refit the Black Pearl and get her going agin....aaarrrrggggghhhhh!
EastTexasBall Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 So is 10-2A DI down this year or what?
ECfan4life! Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 We had one heck of a run this year.. Did more things than anybody expected.. And the past few years we have lost to the state champion except last year, we lost to the state runner up... This year i hope no diffrent from yal tatum... Good luck on the rest of yals season and next week. Yal played one heck of a game and yals defense stoped Roberts, and our line didnt help us that much. Yals QB is better than I expected. Good luck Eagles!!
