I cant believe they havent went all the way! How did we only lose by 10 last year? They make mistakes just like the rest of us but know one can capitalize on it.!

They haven't been around all that long. 4 or 5 years I think. Big growing area with LOTS of talent. Hope they win state this year, may be their last chance for a while!

Manvel has almost 1000 more students than Dayton. Gotta figure for every 100 students youll have 1 big talented kid. That means Manvel would have about 23 of those athletes and Dayton 14. With good coaching they shoul win most games. Same can be said for LT.

I just wondered where they would have been going before Manvel opened.  Manvel only opened ive or so years ago right?
Dawson opened that same time.
Were all these kids zoned to Pearland High before then?

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Manvel has got a great team. The difference tonight was the MANVEL D line creating havoc all night not giving AH time to throw. I got where you were coming from. I was questioning the rather tasteless remark after your initial post. Pearland is bursting at the seams with development of growth which in turn has led to new subdivisions hence the overflow of athletes. I always wondered how much of a dynasty the Pearland Oilers could have had they not split the town in half and created Dawson? My guess is they couldn't keep increasing the size fast enough to keep up with the pace of booming population so instead they opted to build new schools in that area instead?
