Please..... only about 10 teams a year in Tx can claim the state title. Don't pretend GCM wouldn't be happy with 3 rounds or more in the playoffs each year. Unless your school is just loaded with talent like LM or Manvel is, you can't view the playoffs as a State Title or bust every year.

Hope everybody had fun on daytons rebuilding year. With 15 starters coming back and a freshman class that outscored their opponents by like 300 pts its brighter days for dayton.

Pearland dawson is 4a pearland is 5a and yes pearland won state not pearland dawson. Even though dayton hasnt won state they have won more playoff games than any d2 4a schools in all of region 3 the last 5 years.

[/quote]Should say without a state title and WITHOUT a 4A playoff win.  JUST LIKE BARBERS HILL.  Of course Dayton knows what winning playoff games is all about.  In region III over the last five years they have won more than just about anybody.

Yes da UNICORN will move to QRT HORSE and they will be grooming Kenner / McBride to start the next year. That means Sowell will get looked over  ;)

I want to clairify my statement ........... I don't agree with a young man who has worked his arse off and has done everything asked of him to get looked over but just going with what I think the coaching staff will do.  Don't agree with it because I sure do like Chambers as a reciever.

Cant wait to see what chambers can do after he gets some reps and games under his belt. The kid is a heck of an athlete and will bring a different dimension to our offense. He is tall and can flat out run. I also think our offensive line and defensive lines should be really good. Our lb core should be really good if we can find a center barton at lb along with what we already have should be stout.

Oh and don't forget that BH beat you guys 5 out 8 times in Football this year from 7th to Varsity :) Also I like how this year turned into a rebuilding year after you got your butt beat LOL. I was hearing about Daytons State run for 2011 in September of this year. Dayton has had some good teams and seasons, but the worm is turning my friend and it is going to fun to watch :)

Come on you know dayton was not a state contender this year or at least I did. We were way to young and our best player never recovered from his leg injury. I will say this though we have a ton of starters returning unlike bh and our freshman team outscored their opponents by 300+. So I guess we will see if the worm has turned

Wasnt that jv score 8-0. Also our jv beat crosby jv who beat bh so what. Just keep your fingers crossed because if bh gets moved to 20 4a I dont even think they will make the playoffs.
