Remember, the winner represents our Region and even our area. We need whoever it will be to be at full strength in the semi's. We both have respect for each other and know we are both great teams. Let's remember that and play the game of the year that everyone has been waiting for. Let's do this. 8)
+

jkbtjc53
Ive Seen Both Teams Play Coldsprings is a product of a fairly easy schedule WO-S has played 4A Nederland, 4A Friendswood, both loses were by 1 point to each of those 4A playoff teams, and with Giddings WO-S had the ball in the redzone 6 times and didnt sore for various reasons, not making excuses but in all those game WO-S was still trying to install the I Formation offenses after the giddings game WO-S returned back to the spread and started a dominating run, That was Derailed by injuries along the way which caused some games to be close but WO-S is a team on a mission keep in mind they have won all of there playoff games without there best player D-1 corner Dacarlos Renfro.. 5'10 175 4.3 forty.. another note WO-S has 3 Kids that run 4.3 fortys and about 6 that run 4.4's thats serious speed.. I think Coldsprings Gilbert is the only kid that can run with these guys.. And last but not least the best player on west oranges team was deemed ineligible before the season even started and that had alot to do with there early losses he was a special player.. But my predication is WO-S 17- Coldsprings

It's kinda like when you hear a kid throws 90 mph in baseball then you show up and they are topping out at 85. For some reason people feel the need to boost thier players abilities. However, doesn't the lack of offense concern CS fans a little?
YES! :) It's a concern. But like all the other Trojan fans, we are assuming Monroe and Gilbert will pull us through. T-Dawd
WHO THE FREAK CARES? All that matters is how well they run in pads and their football skills. Get off the 40 times. Does not matter. Just a harder collision.
the-riot07
Haha good point and I guarantee that Janice makes the hardest collisions out of both teams! Best run stopper I have seen all year but y'all will find out Friday!
griff
Wow...I wake up this morning to check the threads and already 10 pages on this topic! And it's only Sunday. Maybe this one can break the longest thread record on setx. A couple of facts about this game jump out at me. Coldspring has not played a team as good as WO-S all season. With that said, I DO NOT believe WO-S is invincible...and the same for Coldspring. The level of play WO-S has ascended to is light years better than what they produced prior to the Silsbee game five weeks ago. I like the fact that Coldspring is a one-dimensional team (run-oriented). WO-S' defense has always been built to stop the run first. Coldspring is in for a serious challenge. If the Mustangs eliminate turnovers and cut down on penalties, I like our chances to advance.

They were never even behind in the game, in fact I don't think cs has trailed at all durring the playoffs (maybe in the bellville game). Overall cs has played much tougher opponents in the playoffs than wos. Bc and bellville could beat everyone one of wos opponents and lorena would beat Cleveland and Columbus. BTW lorena's 5 losses were to grandview (9-2), lampass (10-2), kennedale (8-4) la Vega (11-1), and Robinson (9-3). 4 of thier losses la vega, Robinson, kennedale, and lampass they lost by a combined 15 points. They were blownout by grandville in the 2nd game of the season. It's not like lorena was that bad of a team.
We already went through this. We beat Bridge City. skipper
both coaching staffs have there hands full starting monday you can take that to the bank. coach thompson and his staff watched GILBERT very close friday night and watched the (O) line play of coldsprings to me this is the KEY. we here at west orange stark all know that coldspring is a very good football team and NO ONE can take that away from the kids there at coldsprings. ok now on the other hand the coldsprings coaching staff also were watch the same thing saturday with the kids there at wo-s and did NOT see a one man team if you there would go ask one of your coaches i feel sure thay will tell you we saw a very balanced football them in wo-s there not BIG but thay come after you.ok now in closeing IMO only the kids and coaching staff (MUST) find away slow GILBERT down if thats possable the WAR ROOM today yes today is going to be very very besy here at west orange stark PS WE CANT GIVE UP THE fast tds to coldsprings like dan hoos has always said good backs will get there yards but we got to FIND AWAY TO keep them out of the end zone
