Class 4A's #22 state ranked Beaumont Ozen Panthers will head north tonight to take on class 3A's #6 state ranked Silsbee Tigers in their annual non district matchup in the Tiger's Den in Silsbee. Ozen (2-2), ranked #4 this week in SETXsports Big school poll, is coming off a double overtime loss to Port Arthur Memorial in the Fred Williams Classic, 43-37. Silsbee (4-0) ranked #2 this week in the SETXsports big school poll, defeated their Hardin County rival Kountze in the Fred Williams Classic, 92-54, to remain undefeated on the season. Ozen defeated Silsbee last year in Beaumont, 54-48.

Our broadcast will start 10 minutes prior to tip off which is scheduled for 7:30pm. (time approximate due to JV game)

Ozen and Silsbee started playing each other in 1998. Silsbee swept them in district that year.

The all time record is 12-6 in favor of Ozen.
