KFDM COOP Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 Bridge City wins Kelly tourney despite wet conditions BEAUMONT -- Despite a downpour that caused the tournament to be washed out midway through Saturday's second game, the rainout didn't come soon enough to keep Bridge City from topping the field. The Cardinals won their third game in as many tries here, downing Vidor 13-4 in Saturday's first game, then leading Buna 11-0 when the rains came in the second game. BC, the state's No. 1-ranked Class 3A team, had won games against Kelly and Ozen the first two days.
Guest Cardinal12 Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 BC is looking good. Should be a test in next weeks Nederland Tourney. Hopefully stay undefeated!
uniden Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 BC's pitching is looking strong as well as the hitting. Nederland and Sulphur should be two good tests for BC.
MIF04 Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 Hope we see a BC (Angelle) vs. Nederland (Smith) matchup Thursday. A great test for both teams.
