Good game Silsbee. You didn't play scared. Saw the 1st half. This game has Silsbee ready to play for district now. Good mental upside for you guys.

Dove- Is it time for you to predict a 2-0 sweep by the Tigers over the Hawks in district?

I realize the game was closer than the final score, but you were pretty close in your prediction 85. I thought it would be less than 20, but i did not see much of the Kimball game yesterday. Sounded like the 4th quarter was when Kimball pulled away. Shows where depth of a bigger school makes a difference in some games. Hope the kids bounce back and learn from the loss...

Thanks Dove for being such a Tiger hater. I believe the boys played a very agressive game, and YES the Refs were making some terrible calls. We got beat on the outside. They have some exellent shooters on their team. I wasn't very impressed with their inside game to say that they had so much size over Silsbee. All of the boys(tigers) gave an outstanding effort. Kelton, and Dontae's shots wern't dropping like normal, but they still played a great game. This game is a great confidence booster for the Tigers. One thing that I do know......They would have beat the YOU KNOW WHAT outa Ozen, :P :P :P They are still having a hard time beating PAM!!!!!Tiger Nation Haters!!!! Haters are the greatest MOTIVATORS!!!!! :-* :-* :-*

Were you there Dove? I wasn't, but I listened to it via internet, and until the 4th Quarter it
sounded like it was a winnable game for Silsbee. Games like this will help them prepare for a deep run in the playoffs if they learn from their mistakes.

Silsbee played very well in this game! Missed several layups and a few fouled out but played Kimball well! No other team in SETX would have played them this well! Even HJ!
[/quote]

You are right.  HJ would have lost by 60

HJ wouldn't have hung with these guys! HJ is too slow

    • Sorry sir on my miss count. I was in hurry
    • Are they offering refuge to criminals? Or is it a Trump talking point? Refugees are people who leave their country due to unwarranted prosecution. I actually take care of 2 refugee kids who have complex medical needs   No, refugees are not criminals, and the assumption that they are more likely to be criminals than the general population is incorrect:                                                                                          Research shows immigrants commit crimes at lower rates Immigrants in the United States commit crimes at lower rates than the U.S.-born population, including unauthorized immigrants. This is true across immigrant groups.                  Immigration doesn't raise crime rates Immigrants don't raise crime rates in the communities where they settle. In fact, some studies suggest that immigration can lower crime rates, especially violent crime.                  Anti-immigration politicians have spread a myth Anti-immigration politicians have repeatedly tried to link immigrants to crime, but research shows this is a myth.                  Refugees don't cause crime in Turkey A study found that refugees don't have a causal effect on crime rates in Turkey. In fact, the study found that refugees may have a negative effect on crime rates per capita.
    • I think it's actually the first time ever to get past the second round. Some older folks might try to tell you about Scott High but I wasn't here when that school was around 😆
    • Smith is 78-31 overall and 18-8 in the playoffs. His first three years he went 23-15 overall and 6-3 in playoffs. His Silsbee teams are averaging making 3rd round every year in his 9 years as head coach.
    • Wishing everyone a great Thanksgiving!
