datruth1 Posted December 2, 2011 Report Posted December 2, 2011 How many D-1 athletes come from Crosby. Everyone talks about how coaching is the problem, How many D-1 players have they produced that actually performed at a high level????
RED MACHINE Posted December 2, 2011 Report Posted December 2, 2011 Who cares. If you put together a group of kids that will give 100% & not be all about me you could have a very productive team. The coaches at Crosby over the last 8 years under Flanigan have been pretty dang good.

I would say none.
datruth1 Posted December 2, 2011 Author Report Posted December 2, 2011 Everyone knows that if you do not have elite players you can't make it to the elite rounds of the playoffs. Eventually the talent level increases and if your talent level is only 1 or 2 players you will only make it to 1 or 2 rounds.

datruth1 Posted December 2, 2011 Author Report Posted December 2, 2011 All i am saying is Crosby people want a State Championship, but they fell to realize that if the kids don't put in the work ethic and dedication of a state championship team; they will never become state champs. Some players just want to where a uniform and say they play for a team. Stop blaming and firing coaches because your nephew or grandson is not playing, he is not playing because he doesn't put the work in to be a great player. instead those types of kids pout and tell their mommies and daddies "that coach hates me."

[/quote]Way to go Datruth. You have my backing 110%. That is what is happening in Crosby & that is why these coaches are leaving or don't want to coach here.

bronco pride Posted December 2, 2011 Report Posted December 2, 2011 People that think lt wins without talent dont know a thing about football. They have great coaching but you dont win that much without talent

You can't do that unless you have a crap load of talent.
Guest UHCoog14 Posted December 2, 2011 Report Posted December 2, 2011 I think the question was about D-1 talent. LT is NOT loaded with D-1 talent every year. The numbers do not lie. That does not mean they do not have very good athletes.
KF89 Posted December 2, 2011 Report Posted December 2, 2011 that so called D1 talent didnt work out to well for mr. gilbert.
