Looks like Westbrook should be allright in the coming years, that's some pretty good talent. They have more than any school in Houston area. Even though no other local school has anyone on this list doesn't mean someone couldn't peak at the right time.

When the 'new' list comes out, I would expect a greater number of SE Texas and Greater Houston area kids on that list.

For example, I think Eric Eiland (an area code guy) from Houston Lamar will be there as will David Alleman (OF -- Woodlands). I also expect to see Johnny Dishon (BC) on the list -- he was in the Top 100 2 years ago but got left off this year for reasons that remain 'unknown'. You will probably see David Murphy (3B West Brook) on the new list and perhaps Jake Rowell from LCM or Brandon Riley (INF -- Woodville) will be there. A darkhorse for next year could be Jeff Stringer (LHP -- BC). He just hasn't been seen much due to the duo of Angelle and Haymon. He threw very well last weekend at the Kelly Tourney.

In the 2008 (soph) class, Hunter Cervenka (Baytown Sterling) will be ranked high. You will also probably see Casey Jackson (C - BC) and maybe Eric Harrington or Jn Carnahan (both PNG). Todd Wallace and Thad Lycan (both WB) are also possiblities.

I agree -- there is a lot of talent over here baseball-wise.
