Also we have another Mangini who will be a Senior. He was out this last season due to knee injury. He will be our other inside linebacker. 6'1" and 220. There are some other Juniors who played some on the D who will be great players next year. Servantez (sp) will be another good receiver, kinda like Jalali was. Also some big boys coming up from the JV team to fill in the 2 slots on the O line. If I am not mistaken we will have 3 running backs to play with. All of which are fast, quick and strong. There is another receiver that has some good abilities on the JV who is tall as Chipman.
pngfan66 Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 IN about 3 to 4 months PNG will know more about the up and comers when they start Spring Football practice. Just wish the UIL would let the Spring Practice teams have a scrimmage against another Spring Practice team from another school.
Arrow15 Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 I thought PNG had some really good freshman coming up. A QB and two RB's that will probably make some noise this year.

All I can say is that PNG has some very good talent in the pipeline and the NDN's will be making some big noise !
Arrow15 Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 A couple of coaches in Beaumont said the QB is unbelievable passing and running the ball. They also said that the two rb's were fantastic as well. Also said something about a really good receiver. Looks like the indians got it going on.
badndn Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 PNG has a good Freshman group, but the Nederland Freshman group is outstanding.
mytwocents-28 Posted December 13, 2011 Author Report Posted December 13, 2011 If yall are talking about freshman and jv groups then don't leave vidor's jv out. They only lost one district game this year.

The Freshman are just that, Freshman, very few on Varsity at the 4A level anyway.

Wow man where do you come up with this stuff?
Jackthehammer Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 My coworker said that PNG's freshman QB had 25 TD's to 2 picks. If this is true he should get a shot a competing for the varsity job. The running back that was on the freshman is the younger brother to the backup to Bertrand from this season Arvie.
