Eazy Posted December 10, 2011 Report Posted December 10, 2011 Nursing a one-point lead in the fourth quarter, Chapel Hill forced Alvarado into three turnovers on the Indians' final three drives as the Bulldogs claimed the Class 3A Division I state championship with a 20-19 victory on Friday at Cowboys Stadium. This playoff run was pretty amazing for Chapel Hill. LaVega, Navasota, West Columbia, and now Alvarado all took their shots but came up short. Obviously, it was meant to be for Tyler Chapel Hill as they pulled out at least 3 of these games when it looked like they would certainly lose.
liltex Posted December 10, 2011 Report Posted December 10, 2011 Shows how important kicking really is.Early CH missed a pat, then Alv misses a pat, then in the 4th to go ahead by 1 Alvarado goes for 2pt conversion and it failed for a 20-19 1 pt loss.
