Skyline lead 24-14 with just over two minuets left, but then a SLC TD run, an onside kick recovered, and another TD in the final minuet propels SLC to an improbable win over favored Skyline an into the State Finals!  :o

Wow, unbelievable....Great win for SLC and devastating loss for Skyline...And I thought watching my Trojans (last night) give up 2 TD's in the last 8 mins to lose was rough...

Sounds like some discrepancy as to if the onside kick traveled the necessary 10 yards before being touched by a SLC player???

It probably did go 10 yards. After reading several accounts posted, all say a ref had a perfect view of it. Also, seeing it at an angled view on FSSW-HOU, SLC players blocked DS players off the receiving line, then another SLC player came in [i]from behind[/i] and snagged it out of the air. The SLC player [i]himself[/i] did not go 10 yards, but the ball did, similar to a running back or receiver stretching the ball over the goal line. Its the location of the ball, not the player, that mattered. It was a good call.
