As much as I would love him to get to Texas and be ready for next year you can't blame a kid that wants to enjoy his senior year and spend time with family

I don't blame the young man for this decision at all.
You only have one senior year in high school and only one family to enjoy time with.
and man does time fly.

I understand why many chose to enroll early, however, you make a very valid point WOS...As soon as he steps on campus he's going to be in a different world...The time committment alone at the collegiate level (especially a big time D1 school) is crazy...Might as well enjoy the next couple of months with his classmates and family...
