Shepherd 89, Hardin 66.

Hardin was playing without their starting point guard and leading scorer who twisted an ankle during the Goodrich tournament.

Then I guess Hardin must not be that good to get beat by 23 points and only missing their PG. That isn't saying very much for the rest of the Hardin team, Is your PG pretty much your whole team? Oh and yes Cody is a very good player and is a really big part of Shepherd's team.

I would think that for most teams, especially those 2A and smaller, that the loss of your point guard and leading scorer would be a pretty significant loss.

Shoot, losing a pg on a 5-A team could hurt you.

He is not the team....but he is a leader on the team.    This team plays well together and did not play very good vs Sheppard in the 2nd half.    Hardin has improved since last year.  He is rested and will play in tonights district opener.
