WOW. Broncos are 11-4 and get bumped. Did have bad showing HJ Tourn but look at other teams. One with 3-8 record and one 4-8.  ????

Strength of schedule plays into that a lot I think. And west brook has 2 big wins this past week.

Confused as to why Splendora is ranked so high? Their strength of schedule is not very strong at all and they lost to Big Sandy 39-47 and Liberty beat Big Sandy 60-51 and IMO it was one of those games that could have gotten a lot worse, especially if Liberty played better, and had the 4 players that they were missing.

And they barely squeezed by an 0-7 (or something like that) 2A Warren team who also lost to Big Sandy, a team that Liberty handled well.

Rankings are done by 9 guys who volunteer their time to do the rankings.  We are not perfect, we do the best we can with the knowledge that we get, and from the scores that we are given.

And i'm not saying Liberty has done anything special to be ranked, I'm just saying based on the fact that Goodrich and Big Sandy are both ranked 5th and 6th in your 2A/1a/privates poll and Liberty beat both teams, and Splendora was defeated by 1 of those teams, it just makes since to either un rank Splendora or rank Liberty.

As I said earlier in the thread.  The voters volunteer their time to look at schedules and other threads to make their rankings.  A 3A team beating two 2A teams is not reason for a team to be voted in the rankings.

But a 3A team losing to the same 2A team should be reason for Splendora not to be ranked, like i said liberty hasnt done anything special and dont deserve a ranking but neither does splendora
