FlyLikeAnEagle Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 That is a great article about a great young man who represented himself, his school, and community in a positive way. In this day of "specialization" in High School sports, Johnny Dishon demonstrated to everyone what an athlete who cares about his school and his teammates is all about. Football is a very tough sport with alot of chances for injury, and with a D-1 baseball scholarship in hand, Johny could have easily said 'Thnaks but no thanks", but he didn't and that what makes him, in my mind a class act. I have never me the young man, but I wish him well in all of his future endeavors, athletically and otherwise.
Guest BobcatBeliever Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 Johnny is the full package. On a playing field and off. I've had the pleasure of watching him from T-ball up and even been fortunate enough for my son to play on the same team with him at times during Little League and Pony League. A team player he is.
