Piratefan23 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Looking for a good mud tire that will last on the road and get me down my lease's muddy roads. Was looking at Cooper STT and Nitto Trail Grapplers. Any opinions on these?
omng921 Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 I have got some nitto's mud grapplers. They are a little loud on the road but i have about 40k miles on them and they still got about 30k left by my estamites. I do rotate them every 5k miles.

Everything I have read says nittos last then I talk to people and they say they don't. I don't need 80k mile tires I just need around 50k and Ill be happy. I just can't spend the money then get 30k only. Hopefully if I get the Trail Grapplers they won't be too loud on the hwy.
omng921 Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 I didn't think I would get 30k out of them but I am at 40K now and very impressed... But they are a little loud. BUt I am use to them.
BearBryant Posted December 25, 2011 Report Posted December 25, 2011 I have Nitto Terra Grapplers on my truck now and they are at 35K on them. But they are bald. I will be switching to a more aggressive tire when I buy. Will probably look at the Mud Grapplers.
