Plus, she is just one of the GREATEST kids you will ever meet !!
Guest bigcat Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 I would like to nominate Tiffany Weise at catcher. She is a junior at Warren High School. She has done a great job on our select team this year. Should do a great job behind the plate for Warren this year. She has picked off alot of base runners this fall.
oldcoach Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 How about as catcher from Lumberton, Courtney Howell. Lumberton needed a catcher last year who could catch Alex Mitchell. Courtney did a very good job, seeing she had not caught since she was about 5 years old. She got Hon. Men. at catcher as a freshman and had one of the best hitting averages for Lumberton.
softballfreak Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 OK GUYS!! There is only 1 overall best catcher and that is ASHLEY BOYD-WB. There is no one else close to her!
pitch08 Posted December 14, 2006 Report Posted December 14, 2006 I have been waiting for this one. It took longer than I thought. Will some one please get me the correct spelling for Katie Shumaker (sp). You got it right. Katie Shumaker
Guest bcofgsa Posted December 15, 2006 Report Posted December 15, 2006 Now that C Ratcliff has had her time off I think she can come back at pitcher better than ever. She is back pitching and Trout will have back to form before long. She will be the key to OF this year.
Guest BigHam Posted December 15, 2006 Report Posted December 15, 2006 Now that C Ratcliff has had her time off I think she can come back at pitcher better than ever. She is back pitching and Trout will have back to form before long. She will be the key to OF this year. She is a good one!!! Her spins and breaks look good. Just a little off on the speed. That won't take long to fix and improve. C-Rat will be in the news!!!!!!
trout Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 I don't know about Katie Shummker at WB but I do know Kelly Burns is a Soph and throwing in the upper 50s with good movement on all planes with the potional to hit 60 by the time school starts. WB also has a Fresh Katie Hines starting to throw in the mid to upper 50s with a great work ethic, goals set and a plan on how to acheave them. WB is defiantly set at pitching. I am proud of both them and there ability to continue to find a way to get better.
trout Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 Christina Ratcliff is on steady climb to regain old pitching form speed is comeing back quickly but spin will take a little longer. Never fear though with her work ethic by the time HS is here she will have it together and be at the top of her game lucky OF.
trout Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 Katy Austin at PNG is a Freshman and is injured right now but is a great kid. She should have good impact on there program and can bring it pretty good herself.
trout Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 I expect big things from Britt G. at Kelly. She was 2nd Team ALLSTATE and First Super Gold as Freshman. The goals are bigger this year and the expections are higher also. Hopefully I will not mess it up.
trout Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 There are some really great pitchers in this area right now and I feel privelged to get to work with some of them. The scary part is having to play against them this year and there are more comeing next year and the year after.
Txfootball07 Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 Pitcher - Katie Shumaker - Westbrook
Dogs0917 Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 i thought Lindsey Rossi did really good as our starting catcher for Ned. last year as a freshman..
ALLSTAR Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Megan Neeley from Kirbyville is an outstanding defensive catcher ! I donot know any of her stats from last season , just know when she played for me this fall she is a natural leader by example ! The players all feed off of her energy .

JohnnyT60 Posted December 20, 2006 Author Report Posted December 20, 2006 What about Katie Stripling for BH, I think we had her as one of the signing seniors.
Bruinguy Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 Boyd and Shumaker at Westbrook make a pretty good battery.
blt22 Posted December 23, 2006 Report Posted December 23, 2006 Boyd and Shumaker at Westbrook make a pretty good battery.Strongest duo in the GT
Be Smart Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 I think Alex Mitchell will be in the top of the pitchers this year. From what i here she is working hard. And Is playing on a real good team.
WB2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Report Posted January 5, 2007 Katie Shumaker had a great season pitching and hitting last year for West Brook 22-5A Do you want stats from the 2006 high school season to support the nomination?
