This game is driving me crazy.  Especially knowing one play here or there and we could have been in Dallas.  Both teams are playing outstanding defense.

Yep, CS definitely let one slip away...Texans made the plays down the stretch needed to win but if someone would've told me (immediately following last years state champ game) that CS could be back in the semi's in the 4th qtr with a 7 pt lead and the ball I take those odds all day long...Just wasn't to be..

Wow, speaking of letting one slip away. Fumble through the end zone for the touchback, tough break for Argyle!

CS had the exact same thing happen last week in the first half against Wimberley...It helps to be a little lucky as well as good..I guess the flip side of the lucky argument would be that good things happen when you swarm to the ball and put a hat on the ball carrier....But the chances of the same team being the beneficiary of the same type of play two consecutive weeks this deep in the playoffs probably aren't real good...

Turnovers are crucial and none more than the ones that are inches away from being a score...

Absolutely, you have to be good but you also have to get the good break.

    • I personally hope PN-G gets 2nd gets to the 2nd round wins the flip against SOC and drag them them to Houston to play
    • I like option number two, PNG and Nederland both win. Nederland i’ll be the district champion, number 1 seed or whatever you want to call it. Yes I know that if two or three teams tie with the same record, they will be called co-champions and everyone gets a trophy. One team however will go in as the first place team in district and will play the fourth place team in the bi-district round. If PNG and Nederland both win, Nederland will be #1. • Virginia has same day voter registration. A person can literally walk in to the voting location, register and then vote. So the premise that Virginia might be stopping people with a legitimate right to vote is nonsense. From what I gather in the news report, assuming that the ones I have read are correct, the people that were removed, filled out a drivers license registration and marked that they were not an American citizen. Could the person have made a mistake bychecking the box incorrectly? Although unlikely it is certainly possible. That same person who was removed can go into the same voting location where he would have voted and again, complete a voter registration and then vote.  That went into the Supreme Court’s decision.  If such a person votes by registering on election day, he fills out a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots are not originally counted and or not counted unless needed. For example….  Statewide there are 500 provisional ballots cast. A person wins the election by 4,000 votes. That would be no need to count the provisional ballots as it will not matter. Then let’s say there are 5,000 provisional ballots cast in the election. One candidate then wins the election by only 1,500 votes. In that case, the election could definitely swing on those provisional ballots. The state will then investigate each person to make sure they live at the correct address listed and that they are American citizens. If these things are correct, the vote will then be counted. Safe Harbor is not untillll…… I think December 17th this year so there will be six weeks to verify the provisional ballots if needed. The purging of the names of people who checked a state form saying that they were not an American citizen, will not stop that same person from voting.
