Best game you saw this season...

Recommended Posts

Have at it.

I give the best game of the season that i saw to the Vidor pirates when they played Crosby. Not because it was the closest that ran all the way down to the end of the game. Not that because it had the best stats but because it was a milestone that the 2011 Vidor Pirates made that night with that win. I have never seen so many happy people in my life as i saw that night at Lamar. It was history in the making and i still think some of the kids do not realize what they did.

Kelly vs Trinity Addison
Down 27-7 at halftime then comeback to score a last second touchdown to win 35-33 and push Kelly to the semifinals of the playoffs.

or

Kelly vs East Chambers
With time winding down, and Kelly leading 42-38, Kelly's Daniel Messina intercepted a pass in the end-zone to win the game.

Unfortunately i was unable to make it to that game but i listened to the broadcast on here and i bet if i was there that would definitely would've made the best game. Talk about all the way down to the wire with two teams that went 3 rounds deep in the playoffs.

This^^^. At 14-14, Mathews was goning to settle for O.T. with a long field and 53 seconds. The offense led by Quirante had different plans. And yes VP32, you would have probably picked this one if you saw it. This was a pivotal game for Vidor getting to the Playoffs.

Great show of sportsmanship at this game...PNGs last play of the game...the interception....Jayce Nelson going to his knees...Broncos gathering around him and comforting him. I clipped that pic out of the newspaper....Well done Broncos!

Oh i bet. My whole family had the tv muted (by the way that never happens, and i mean never) and everyone wasn't even breathing when Quirante said hut. I think we actually got complaints for all the noise we made after the catch.

I gotta at the Coldspring vs. Bellville playoff game that went to overtime.  I was on the edge of my seat the entire game.

That game nearly killed me!!! I hurt the whole weekend from how tense I was during that game.  And that was just from being a spectator!!!

No other way to express it, speveto - you are just SORRY! :(
[/quote]Who could ask for more. A very good, undefeated, super team, playing an over rated, also-ran team who had only one win all year, and playing for the Undisputed District Championship and the winner not decided until the last play of the game. I was betting on the "SUPER TEAM".

    • I personally hope PN-G gets 2nd gets to the 2nd round wins the flip against SOC and drag them them to Houston to play
    • I like option number two, PNG and Nederland both win. Nederland i’ll be the district champion, number 1 seed or whatever you want to call it. Yes I know that if two or three teams tie with the same record, they will be called co-champions and everyone gets a trophy. One team however will go in as the first place team in district and will play the fourth place team in the bi-district round. If PNG and Nederland both win, Nederland will be #1. • Virginia has same day voter registration. A person can literally walk in to the voting location, register and then vote. So the premise that Virginia might be stopping people with a legitimate right to vote is nonsense. From what I gather in the news report, assuming that the ones I have read are correct, the people that were removed, filled out a drivers license registration and marked that they were not an American citizen. Could the person have made a mistake bychecking the box incorrectly? Although unlikely it is certainly possible. That same person who was removed can go into the same voting location where he would have voted and again, complete a voter registration and then vote.  That went into the Supreme Court’s decision.  If such a person votes by registering on election day, he fills out a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots are not originally counted and or not counted unless needed. For example….  Statewide there are 500 provisional ballots cast. A person wins the election by 4,000 votes. That would be no need to count the provisional ballots as it will not matter. Then let’s say there are 5,000 provisional ballots cast in the election. One candidate then wins the election by only 1,500 votes. In that case, the election could definitely swing on those provisional ballots. The state will then investigate each person to make sure they live at the correct address listed and that they are American citizens. If these things are correct, the vote will then be counted. Safe Harbor is not untillll…… I think December 17th this year so there will be six weeks to verify the provisional ballots if needed. The purging of the names of people who checked a state form saying that they were not an American citizen, will not stop that same person from voting.
