These are the teams in the Sherman tourney:

It will be pool play Tuesday and Wednesday, bracket play Thursday.

Silsbee will play SA Southwest 4:30 Tues., Denison 9:30am Wed., and WF Rider 7:30pm Wed.

Silsbee is the only 3A school in tourney, all the rest are 5A or 4A.

There is also a small school boys, big school & small school girls tourney along with the big school boys. Those three are all bracket play.

I like their chances. It will be between them and WF Rider in Pool B, McKinney North is the favorite in Pool A.

I am thinking that 4 of those players listed are JV players because they share the same number. I am thinking 15-16 on varsity. Still, that is 5 more than what Silsbee has on varsity and much more height. All their bigs are juniors and seniors ('6"8, '6"7, '6"5 seniors, 3 '6"4 juniors)

Settled into my hotel here in Sherman and now about to head across the border to Oklahoma to WinStar Casino to play some poker.

Glad Silsbee's game tomorrow is not until 4:30pm!! ;D
