AggiesAreWe Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 Rice ends Texas A&M's 67-game home win streak versus non-conference foes with a 65-58 win. This after coming off a loss to Lamar at home.
mytwocents-28 Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 A beat B. B beat C. Therefore A can beat C.

Ewert Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 Depends on if they are hitting their 3 point shots. Missed all of them against Ohio St. but made them at Rice. :)
ForeverADog Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 And missed them against Ohio and Louisville too! Need to be consistent in conference against UTA and such.
ForeverADog Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 A couple of interesting stats: Lamar is only shooting 40.4% from the floor on the year. That's 286th in the country! The way they are able to still win is that they average 42.3 rebounds per game. 4th in the country. We get a lot of second chances.
Guest basketball25 Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 la laf beat central florida 2 days ago!!!
geezer Posted December 25, 2011 Report Posted December 25, 2011 Lamar needs to step up and play a fundamentally good game against one of these major schools. Pat Knight is not just scheduling them as a recruiting ploy. Recruiter to recruit Hey we're going to play top notch teams and get our tails kicked, he wants to compete.
Guest basketball25 Posted December 26, 2011 Report Posted December 26, 2011 they have been competing!!!

But like most coaches, if you play and compete with the big dogs, they want that the same competitive intensity when conference play starts.
BLUEDOVE3 Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 I saw Texas A&M play last night. They aren't as good as people may have thought they were. One of their star freshman guards just transferred out. Their players look more like role /off the bench players.
AshlyHasBeen Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 Injuries and an unhealthy coach isn't helping. Even the closer losses were blowouts in the first half. Terrible shooting. Their defense is keeping them in games.
