Agreed, they don't circulate in Vidor. Not worth thinking about, IMO. We were well represented by the Orange Leader and the Beaumont Enterprise is the same joke it has always been. I'm waiting for the Vidorian Super Gold team to come out. We'll get the definitive answer on this then....

All Four of Memorial LB's are qualified and getting mid major looks right now. I know this for a fact.

Jereem Augustine - North Texas, Memphis, UTSA, Sam Houston St., Tulsa
Ivory Pickett - UTSA, McNeese State, UL-Lafayette, Tulane, UTEP
Davante McMillian, North Texas, McNeese, Tulane, Sam Houston St., Memphis,UTSA

UTSA wants all of them immediately.  Also it is shameful that Lamar hasnt evend offered anyone of these outstanding young men.  or anyone else from Memorial. Can anyone explain that.

Congrads to all players who made the super team and the players that were deserving and left out. Titans did a great job going all the way to Semi-Finals in 5A. Sometimes its about politics on who is chosen and sometimes is based on competition, Classification, and especially League(UIL>TAPPS) far as news coverage, attention, and respect from area.... We all know sometimes its difference between private school and public schools.

You guys gotta get beyond the "so and so is signing with so and so D1 so they are deserving of making the blank all star team." I hear this argument every year. It's not about who you singed with, it's about what you a accomplished on the field. There are lots of great HS ball players that don't have the measurables of a D1 athlete, but put up great numbers and earn loads of respect on the HS FB field amongst their peers, the coaches and the fans.

That's impressive! Not many teams have (3) D-1 committs. I can count on one hand the number of D-1 players that have come out of Nederland in the past 10 years.

In the past Nederland has been mostly white.  White kids don't get recruited as heavily as black kids do.
