BADSANTA Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 I'm not sure if anyone for Silsbee has smashed one in this year. Last year you could have had one for DC.
Lazeek Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 Holmes and Elam each got one in pre-game. One player actually got one while the captains were meeting with the referee's at center court, but no tech called!!! ;D ;D ;D

BADSANTA Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 Yes but it's a lot more fun to watch than lay ups.

BADSANTA Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 If your 6'6 and you get on a fast break and you don't try a dunk, you need to invest in a pair on jumping shoes. Your already 8/10th of the way to the rim when you hold your hands up!

BLUEDOVE3 Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 Dear Nash, I've finally come to terms and maybe our lives have come full circle. That only you and I can appreciate the beauty of this pix.

BADSANTA Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 06 in Houston when he robbed Andre Igoudala! Robinson jumped over Spud in that contest!
BMTSoulja1 Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 I'm with AAW. It's 2 points. A reverse dunk is the same as a scoop layup off the glass.
BMTSoulja1 Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 UNLESS you're the H-J basketball team. 8)
jam14 Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 as far as dunks go, in pregame murphy was throwin it down one handed and two handed, catchin ally oops and has a nice two handed dunk in a game earlier this year against deweyville

Why is Blake Griffon always shown on ESPN highlights? Or Dwight Howard? Is it because of their 15 foot jump shots?Anybody who had played the game knows that there is something special about a dunk.... or being dunked on.Granted, there are a handful of teams that are able to yawn during a dunk, but there are many teams out there that let it bother them. For instance, how many times do you see coaches call a timeout after a dunk? I'm just sayin'
AggiesAreWe Posted January 5, 2012 Author Report Posted January 5, 2012 I have personally seen more timeouts called after a 3 pointer made than I have after a dunk. ;)

But the discussion was centered on dunks, layups, and 15 foot jump shots.
PoppaBearstarr Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 I don't understand why "some" have something against dunking....obviously We make sure that we bring it up because it has stirred up so much emotion... Honestly I do not understand.... It gets more views than layups... You see highlights on espn and they show every dunk in the game... I too would rather have a 3 but if I can't a dunk works just fine...Besides that's not what this thread is about... Again somehow HJ got pulled into the topic again....Good win silsbee and someone call the thread police...
BMTSoulja1 Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 You say 'some'. Is it me that you're talking about? 8) 8)
