If we win conference and our tourney I think we will be at least 14 maybe a 13. But I hate thinking that far ahead.

13 is probably stretching it - but I can see a 14 seed, more likely a 15 though.  Biggest thing is - just win baby!

The confrence is so bad that their rpi is dropping like crazy. Even though they continue to win.

Even after a slow start Lamar's RPI is 105 thanks to non-conference. UTA is currently 150.

Exactly.  The toughest part of the conference schedule is over so LU should win all their remaining games.  Lamar is still in the running for a good bracketbuster game that could boost their RPI even better.  Although UTA is a little better right now, Lamar has the better RPI which translates into a better seeding in the NCAA tourney.  At this point I bet the best the SLC can do is a 15 seed.

All that makes sense, sorta. I agree the best the SLC will do is a 15. UTA as a 14 could beat a 3 if they shoot like they did at the Montange, but history shows you gotta shoot lightsout to beat a 2 and a 1 has never been beaten in rd 1.

With UTA being knocked out Lamar will be seen in Bracketology tomorrow!

Based on RPI - Im Guessing the 16 seeds will be:
SWAC Champ
American East Champ
MEAC Champ other than Norfolk State
Western Kentucky

If Mcneese wins then they would replace either the AE Champ or Norfolk as a 16.
If LU Wins I would suspect a borderline 15 seed. Depends on if Norfolk wins the MEAC or not.

One Bracketology I saw this morning has LU a 16th seed facing Syracuse in Pittsburgh!  Ugggghhh!

That would mean that LU would be the 67th seed! Behind either a SWAC team or a 15-18 W. Kentucky.

It's har for me to believe that LU couldn't beat either of those two teams. Don't know much about "Cuse" but would rather play them than Kentucky or NC as CBS sports is projecting the SLC champion to play.

Keep in mind there are 6 total 16 seeds. I don't think Lamar will get a play in game but it will be hard to get a 15 seed.

Not so. Last year only two of the 4 play in games were for the 16 seed. One of the others was VCU/USC as an 11 Seed! WOW. VCU had a play in and made it to the final four.
