I believe Santa's comment was in reference to tomorrow's game being a track meet and not a literal reference to track shoes.

[/quote]I believe the appropriate phrase to describe it is "tongue in cheek".  ;)  I assume that the Silsbee Tigers will score tonight. Don't you?

I have not seen either team play this year, but it seems evident that HJ and Silsbee are both good with HJ being favored.  Silsbee has no height but more speed, where HJ has more Height and less speed from what I gather.  I think HJ wins both district games because they will outrebound Silsbee pretty badly and I dont think the pressure will bother HJ.
I know it is just the beggining of district, but a month from now I suspect both teams to be playing in the playoffs.  If HJ has beat Silsbee twice in district, if they happen to meet in the playoffs that 3rd time, that could be a tough win to pull out.  That would be in the back of my mind.  It is hard to beat someone 3 times in a row.  Just a thought.

that's been brought up several times, how tough it is to beat a team 3times in a row. I agree with you, very difficult. just imagine how hyped that game will be when they meet up for the 3rd time, if they meet up that is.
