After one of the  best seasons in recent memory about time to get the boys of summer going. Not expecting much from Houston but going down to spring training to see what up. Hopefully with a new GM and owner maybe we can right the ship. Cannot wait.

I'm with you on the hopes for the 'Stros.  But, "Righting the ship" will take a while, I think. :(

They are gonna suck this year. Last year, they were a farm team for the Phillies. I will tune in and watch the youngsters play though. Gotta give Jim Crane a chance; it will take his guys a while to get the ship righted. Not much to get excited about right now, but hope for better days ahead.

It's a long, long, long, long shot but just think about it. St. Louis lost 40 HRs and 120 RBIs in Albert Pujols leaving for the Angels. Milwaukee lost 30+ HRs and 100+ RBIs in losing Prince Fielder to Detroit. The BIG SLUGGERS of our division are no longer in our division. Pittsburgh is on the rise, I believe. The Reds are gonna get better. And who knows what the Cubs are gonna do with their new GM. Yes St. Louis is the defending champs but it is very hard to replace 40+ HRs and 120 RBIs. Who said this young Astros team is just completely out of this division race before the season starts? You never know. 2 teams lost their big sluggers and you never know what might happen with a young team. We will see. Go 'Stros!

also Braun may miss 50 games depending on the MLB suing over the overturn! Astros could win 50 games! TOTAL. Gonna be a rough year, but I do enjoy seeing the young talent make it up to the bigs. Kinda like Christmas each month with a new prospect at MM Park.
