lsimmons9897 Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 Good game Stangs. Keep your heads up, you'll get them at the stable.

Lazeek Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 Nice win Tigers. Looks like the Hawks will have their hands full on Friday night in Orange.

BLUEDOVE3 Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 I need to start charging a fer for my pre-game predictions.

ST413 Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 Glad we hit our 3's last friday because it seemed like we were 2 for 50 tonight...wow i was just putting this up while the stats were posted now I see 1 for 17 not good...
east texas bb Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 That is usually expected following a big win like last week. It is a big statement that they still found a way to win against arguably the 3rd best team in district on the road.
ST413 Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 True but it wasn't on the road it was in Silsbee.....
east texas bb Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 Thought it was at WOS, still a big win and even tougher after the game they played last week. You can bet they wont shoot 1 for 17 again.
TopDawG52 Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 seems like silsbee was fortunate Chris elam came to play tonight

BADSANTA Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 Silsbee 3 point shooting has been bad all years. With this many guards and no real size, they need to hit some of these to win playoff games.

BADSANTA Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 I agree! I think Silsbee coaching staff needs to get some love on getting these guys up for this game. Coming off a emotional high like Friday vs a very good WOS team last night had to be tough. Great Job Sigler, Collins, and Brooks.
WOSgrad Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 A great effort by the Mustangs and a lot better showing than I thought they would be able to muster.
AggiesAreWe Posted January 18, 2012 Author Report Posted January 18, 2012 The game being close is just a result of WOS being a very good team. The game at WOS will be a close one as well. WOS is like West Brook which causes match up problems for Silsbee.BTW, I had Silsbee an 8 point favorite, the Tigers won by 7. ;)
Guest basketball25 Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 its all about matchups and like aggies said they match up really well, and athletic wise i'm sure they are equally matched.. I would imagine!!! I hear silsbee shot really bad but also it was probably because WOS is a pretty good team and defended half way descent, and a good athletic can cause a team to shoot bad!! I mean we can say if HJ didn't go 11-31 at the ft line they beat silsbee but u know HJ did miss those fts and silsbee battled and fought through some adversity and found a way to win that game and thats what great teams do!!!
