EAGLE07 Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 Barbers Hill is loaded this year.....possibly as good as the '07 team.
Dayton Transplant Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 Who came up with this. Some have changed schools, some not playing (injuries etc). Some may fall out. Guess this is a guess.
Guest UHCoog14 Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 GCM and BH should battle for the title.HOUSTON 5A BASEBALL bases their selections on who returns from last year. They are not aware of transfers or injuries and do not receive any coaches input. As far as a list based on talent alone, not a bad list at all.
Dayton Transplant Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 Just curious. Thought it said 4-A. They have boys from 3A and private schools on the list. Is a very good list though

BrenhamFan Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Wow. I'm surprised Jesse Baker is only 2nd team.

RedNeck_From_Hill Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012
Where is Tyler Newcomb from Barbers Hill?
I agree and what about the left handed pitcher from Barbers Hill? Newcomb had an awesome year in football and I am willing to bet he will do the same in baseball. Barbers Hill is stacked this year, it's gonna be a great year for the team from the hill.
Guest OldRiverEagle Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Newcomb signed the play football with Grandview in Iowa. Thames is the lefty, got the win vs Nederland in the first playoff game with some great closer help from Kody Thompson.
