Yep. Can't celebrate too long. Gotta travel to LCM Friday night. They ate hungry, and they are the last team to beat Ned in district almost 2 years ago.

Actually we got up to 2 dunks in a game during the BH tourney by Jared Lormier. Ozen has one dunk tonight and one missed (blocked by Kimler).

Nederland's JV coach has done a great job with those boys.  Coach English has a great program in place.  Varisty has three big sophmores and  the JV continues to be successful.

Like I've said the past 3 years, been seeing and talking with English on the LD and summer circuit outside of S.E.Texas.  He's connected into the basketball community and has been in the process for making his kids better. Its showing hard work pays off. But it ain't over for these rematches. ;)

[/quote]Actually, that #11 could not miss anything last night, except for free throws :D The Ozen JV was off sync last night and the varsity is really showing some team effort the last few games. We just gotta move on and wait for the rematch.

His name is Jacob Landry, and he is not afraid to pull the trigger. If he works hard on his ball handling skills and defense during the offseason, he will be a huge asset on Varsity next year. The Ned Varsity will be stacked with depth next year, since 4/5 starters will be returning. A problem I'm sure Coach E will welcome!  8)
