Couldn't find much on them except a JV schedule on the School website, not sure if they even played a varsity schedule last year.  Travel in this District is brutal, for Dewyville to play at  New Waverly = 135 miles, Corrigan Camden = 125 miles, Hemphill = 110 miles and Groveton = 140 miles, all one way numbers.  Anderson-Shiro is between Brenham and Huntsville on FM-149.

After reviewing the alignment again, I see that North Forest has been listed in 21-4A with the Houston ISD schools.

Well, that will probably be the case.  North Forest ISD is appealing the closure order by the TEA but it is widely believed that the appeal will be denied.  I believe that the UIL putting North Forest High in this realignment was just an attempt to cover all contingiencies.  I truly believe that they will not be around when the 2012-23 school year rolls around.

Well...looks like Hull-Daisetta will enjoy district. Evadale has to be upset, they had a cupcake district the last two seasons. Not anymore. Kirbyville has a cake walk district. And like I said Deweyville stayed 2A.

Over the last 2 years, Newton, EC, Anahuac, Buna or Woodville would have been playoff teams in 18-3A over the last couple of years had they been placed there. 

A young Kirbyville team that would have had serious trouble even sniffing the playoffs out of 10-2A-I last year made the playoffs out of 18-3A.

Don't get me wrong, a tough top to bottom 10-2A-I got that much tougher after yesterday with Kirbyville joining it.  But a cakewalk for Kirbyville it will not be.
