You better have a conversation with the Newton folks. Some there thought when Newton dropped into 2A a few years ago, NO ONE would come within 50 points of them. The past two years, Newton is 0-2 vs. EC, and EC has gone 3 rounds deep. Better think again, 55. LOL.

wow. hardin? did you forget about NEWTON and WOODVILLE? they are gonna see what it realllly means to earn a spot in playoffs. a 2-8 season WILL NOT cut it in this district.

[/quote]We will see. WH lost their 3 best players to graduation. H-D has never lost to WH 3 times in a row. H-D has Tyler Drake, Austin Edmondson and Garrett Hickman coming back. I say H-D wins district, followed by WH or Iola.

LOL Didn't we just go 2-9 last season?  So much for domination.  It amuses me that we can make the playoffs with 2 wins . . .

Kirbyville will not dominate that district. With EC and Newton in there, there's no way they dominate. Anahuac and Woodville are usually decent also.

If Deweyville has to go Anderson-Shiro, that's a 3 hour and 15 minute trip. According to Google they are 179 miles one way. I'm glad the UIL took in account travel expenses.

My bad. I forgot about Haywood and Jacko. Haywood sure is fast. Broke a fast one on us last year if i remember right. And Jacko's playing speaks for itself. But I don't think that'll be enough to make much noise in your new district.

I'll admit i don't know much but naming a team as state contenders is a big statement. That's all i was saying. Never said they weren't man.

It has been the toughest district in 2a....and this is not this first person i have heard say this. many,many,many oldtimers said this might be the best team newton has ever had.

Huffman has been in Coldspring's district for several years now. I do not know who they replaced Madisonville with but it is not Huffman.
