bronco pride Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 Even though he was undersized I liked fred hyson. He was fast and would lay you out. On a side note if they can keep barton at lb this year I think we will have an excellent lb core.
Football Freak Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 I remember DJ Devers, he was REAL good too. But I gotta stick with Gaskamp as far as Dayton's best. A true old school LB. Unmatched instincts for the ball, violent collisions, open field tackles, closing speed in traffic, and very strong. Gaskamp's only negatives, ( i.m.o. ) a little undersized ( 5' 9 or so ) and not phenom speed ( high 4.6 or low 4.7 ).What a great H.S. LB though... Man that kid could play.
