Refs were awful last night in this game.  I don't think that they favored either team, but they were inconsistent and blew way too many whistles.  28 total fouls in the first half, plus numerous other violations.  Lots of "discussions" among the refs after seemingly routine calls.

It was very strange, and the game had no flow because of it until mid-2nd half when HJ started to stretch the lead out.

HJ has many fans that sit on the visitors side of the gym.  Always have, and always will.

Me being one of them!! i like to sit front row in the middle on the visitor side! Now do i think that spot has to be reserved for me no! if i see somebody sitting there i will more than gladly sit on the home side...but if i had to pick that is the spot I would take because I can see everything! I can tell you this right now that there is a 99.9% chance that i will not have that spot for the HJ vs Silsbee game. 1. Because Silsbee will bring everybody and their momma,(i have no problem with that I love the BIG crowds that is what makes high school basketball so much fun!) and 2. I wont get off of work till 5 that day so I will be luck to even get in the door!! hahahah

So, since Silsbee was accommodating to HJ fans by not allowing Silsbee fans to sit on the visitor side in the HJ game (some Silsbee fans do sit on the visitor side in other games), you are stating that HJ will not be so accommodating when Silsbee comes to town??

Nothing interesting you pot stirrer....I know for a fact that this year and last year there were silsbee fans sitting on both sides of the gym... ::) ::)

To my knowledge, all Silsbee fans were moved to the "home" side of the gym this year. There were some that sat over there last year though.

I spoke with the Silsbee school officials before and after the game about that subject. They said no Silsbee fan would be allowed to sit on the east side (visitor side) and after the game, I was told that was the case. They actually moved a few fans right before and just after tip off.

Just going by what those school officials told me.

Aren't tickets 1st come 1st serve. Let people sit where they want to sit ande enjoy the game. I'm sure they don't designate tickets for visiting fans do they? No gun in SETX is large enough to give a entire side to visitors.

It is first come first serve always... I don't think they will turn away fans if there is room just because what side they are pulling for .. ::)

[/quote]Coach Wilkins was the one that didn't want to use the local chapters - both his chapter & HJ's chapter. Turns out he was worrying about the wrong thing. He should have worried more about a game plan instead of the officials.
