Your probably right...how do you think coldspring will do against hj or your tigers?
Will  beat either one of them.
Shows how little beechnut knows about high school basketball. ::)

Coldspring is good, but not good enough to beat HJ or Silsbee.
[/quote

Just call them like I see them.
Problem is, you haven't seen any one of the three teams play this year. ;) ::)
Dont get ugly Mike.  8)
He obviously hasn't seen H.J play this year if he think Coldspring can beat them lol, and the fact that Silsbee (who I haven't seen) beat H.J that should show you CS can't beat them either.

The young Indians couldn't have picked a worse time to play their flatest game of the season. They lost to a very inferior Tarkington team that just played hard and took advantage of some Indian mistakes. Honestly, this loss gets laid at the feet of Coach Brew. Your team has a 14 point lead with 6 minutes to play at home and you lose the game. Poor coaching, it is what it is. To the three players suspended do to fighting last week, take a good look in the mirror boys because you own a big part of this loss as well. I said all along this young Indians team would be prone to losing a game that couldn't be explained and it happened, unfortunately. Footnote: the Indians dressed 7 tonite, 2 jv call ups, a player eligible for the first time this season, and lost a key starter (a senior) to grades. Those are just excuses. No offense Tarkington but this game should have been over at half time. I hope the Indians realized that talent doesn't always win. Sometimes it just comes down to effort and even the least talented player can play hard.
They weren't inferior the other night sounds like a bunch of excuses to me. Maybe you should just face the fact that Cleveland isn't that good this year and this probably isn't the last time they will get beat in district play. The horns also had two starters out due to injury (not fighting) and a key bench player also on the shelf due to a concussion. This game would have been over by half time had the horns made some free throws they should have beaten Cleveland alot worse.
All I can say to something like this is, HILARIOUS!

This is a 22-3a thread but as usual little Mikie and his possy has to throw their two cents in. I think agorance is the best description.
First of all, I am the only one posting here not affiliated with 22-3A, no posse involved. (but didn't know I wasn't allowed to post) ::)

Second, if you would look more carefully, I never brought HJ or Silsbee into the conversation until bjimbo (who I believe is a Huffman fan) straight up asked me how I thought Coldspring would do against HJ or Silsbee. Here is his post:

"Your probably right...how do you think coldspring will do against hj or your tigers?"

Then you make a post claiming Coldspring would beat HJ and Silsbee which I disputed. You followed up by stating "you call them like you see them" which I found quite funny since you haven't seen Coldspring, HJ or Silsbee play this season and I posted that point.

beechnut if you want to get in a war of words with me, you come better prepared next time. All you are doing is making yourself look foolish. Just get control of those emotions next time.

btw, what is "agorance"? ::)

This post is to support AAW in his assessment of Coldsprings vs. HJ/Silsbee. They would not defeat either team. They should win 22-3a after Cleveland's inexplainable loss Friday but I'm not sure Coldsprings will last long enough in the playoffs to face either team.
Only time will tell in the playoffs for Coldspring, but I don't know how Splendora and Huffman lost to Cleveland. I think the whole district may have a shot to put up wins against Cleveland this second half of the season. Coldspring was not very intimated by the three-headed monster and even gave mercy in the fourth quarter.

I do support the longhorns as well as a few other teams in district 22-3A, Cleveland just isn't one of them.

My assessment is watching Coldspring play them and watching from the previous four years these kids from all the district played each other from 7th grade up. I knew unless the sophmores won 4 straight National Little Dribblers or won in AAU like the Graduated Cleveland players did, they would not help Cleveland's problem. Winning at Campbell Park does not count. Huffman and Splendora played a better game against Coldspring and made them work on different parts of their game in practice later. I seen three better teams in district.
Here are the problems with your observation. 1.The game Cleveland played against Csprings was their worst performance in district by far. Even worse than their effort against Tarkington, if that's even possible. 2.And just as important, you saw Csprings play Splendora and Huffman on the road. When those two teams go to play in the shoebox Csprings calls a gym, one or both of them will get blown out in the same fashion the Indians did.

There is a reason it was their worst game they played. Either Coldspring was under-estimated, Cleveland over-estimated theirself, or both happened. I seen a good JV team with attitude but they will never make-up for the last four years of dominance. No matter how much the fans or parents want it. I'm sure there will be just as many Coldspring fans (students don't count) in your gym than Cleveland because most of Cleveland knows what is going to happen. Try not to be mad this time.
