The coach that they have now. Deel, the funny thing about that game was the adults in the stands were more mad than the kids or coaches, and im talking elderly adults! Lol

Hardin beat them 56-28. I was really surprised that Hardin didn't go on to do good things that year. The QB and both of the WR's were very good. All 3 would have started in Liberty, a 3A playoff team that year. I feel Liberty could have done more if their star player on both sides of the ball wasn't injured in the first quarter. He carried Liberty through that year with over 1600 rushing yard, he had 76 rushing yards in 9 minutes in the 1st quarter against Hardin, and was also swarming the ball on defense, he was Liberty's leading tackler on the season as well, so it took a toll on the team anytime he wasn't on the field.

Newton,EC,anahuac, woodville, and buna in the district its tough to do really good when you have teams that are bigger, faster, and stronger than you and that have better overall athletes. hardin could put up points because they had a great offensive coach but on the defense side they are just to small!!
