LB Michael Hargis is a great pickup.  He's 6-4, 220 and runs a 4.59 40. (Scout 2-star)

And it's been rumored elsewhere that 6-4, 220 lb QB Jacob Morgan of Cisco College has enrolled at Lamar.  His stats this year: 205 of 375, 2,840 yards, 25 touchdowns, 19 interceptions

A lot of times quarterbacks are recruited to play other positions.  Many times the best athlete on a high school team is simlpy put at QB, but he is suited to play another position as well, if not better.

yup..ploch,heidrith,sp?, and m. jackson were all hs qb's...that and the fact jj throws like me mum
